Gladys’ son Joseph has been an entrepreneur since the age of 7, where he started selling fruit picked from the neighbors trees with permission in New Mexico, and sunglasses from Tijuana to fellow students in high school. He went on to live in Paris, France for a year and half due to a funny life decision, and then came back to San Diego to open his own swimming pool maintenance company, using skills learned maintaining the Vineyard Hacienda swimming pool while growing up.
He went on to work in Real Estate, then became a bartender in Little Italy while attending and graduating from San Diego State University for a degree in Business Management with emphasis in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing. Early in 2012, he became general manager for a Ramona winery, but is now implementing the knowledge learned in Ramona at Vineyard Hacienda.
Joseph has studied martial arts since age six, and has a black belt in Muay-Thai/American boxing as well as belts in other martial arts. His heart, however, will always remain at the Hacienda. Joseph and his Mother had a vision to transform the Hacienda to a bit of paradise to share with the world.
